Ministério Público Federal do Paraná é premiado nos Estados Unidos, pelo seu trabaalho na lava-Jato.

Ontem à noite em Nova York, o Ministério Público Federal do Paraná ganhou um prêmio internacional. Os promotores da Força-Tarefa da Lava Jato foram os premiados.

Carlos Fernando dos Santos Lima, Deltan Martinazzo Dallagnol e Roberson Pozzobon representaram o MPF na cerimônia realizada nos Estados Unidos, pela Global Investigation Review (GIR).

O MPF disputou a premiação com concorrentes dos Estados Unidos, Noruega, Reino Unido e Romênia na categoria “Enforcement agency or prosecutor of the year” (“agência de persecução penal do ano ou promotor do ano”).

“GIR awards – Nominations

1. New York Department of Financial Services, US: for becoming one of the most feared enforcers in the world, with a uniquely uncompromising approach.

2. US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, US: for its investigation of FIFA.

3. The Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (ØKOKRIM): for winning the Yara case, sending a message in Norway and beyond.

4. Federal Public Prosecutors in Paraná, Brazil: for their investigation and prosecution of problems at Petrobras(Lava-Jato).

5. The Serious Fraud Office, UK: for securing the conviction of Tom Hayes on eight counts over Libor (14-year sentence given).

6. National Anti-Corruption Directorate, Romania: for showing that an agency from a small country can take on the big international names.”
